Cross Assembly is a missions-sending base where we build up and send out Spirit-filled agents of local and global transformation!
For five years John & I have been part of this family; Watching this mission statement play out in real time. We've had the great joy of seeing friends, young and old, single or married, young families, a group of beautifully unique individuals launch out from this house.
I have often likened Cross Assembly to a Greenhouse for Global Workers. If you have any inkling, stirring, or desire to go, the community at Cross will walk that road of discovery with you.
It all begins with FORWARD 200, a group that meets monthly to explore life as a global worker and what it takes to Go - and Stay on the field. At Forward 200 we had the opportunity to meet countless global workers and hear their stories. The highs and the lows. The realities of life on the field. It has been a safe place to ask questions and wrestle through the answers.
It was in this environment, we were prompted again and again to ask, is God calling us to go? If so, where? When?
If you find that indeed, you are called - you're encouraged to take one step of obedience at a time. Offering one "yes" at a time. Through Forward 200, the church comes around you to help you flourish and thrive, preparing you and ultimately getting you out there, to make a global impact.
This Sunday, May 31, 2026, John & I were the ones on the platform. We were the ones being commissioned and prayed for. I am struggling to find the words to express our gratitude, for all of the people who have spoken into our lives, and supported us on this journey. For all of those who will come alongside us in the weeks and months ahead. We are honored and blessed. Thank You.
This brings us to the ultimate question: Is God calling you to step out and go? If He is, where and when will that journey begin?
